FreeBird Express (formally Pacha Express). Pacha Epress was recently acquired by new owners. Although the name has changed, the boat and crew remain the same. FreeBird Express is the newest, largest and most luxurious boat servicing the Gili Islands and Lombok out of Amed. Our number one priority is safety and the boat is inspected frequently to make sure it meets all safety requirements.
FreeBird Express began operation in the spring of 2015. The 1 goal from the very beginning was to bring safety, comfort and a friendly experience to the guests – something that had been lacking prior to our arrival in the marketplace.
FreeBird Express 1 was designed with a state of the art deep V hull, which not only provides a comfortable ride but also reduces the chance of seasickness. FreeBird Express 2, which was launched in June 2017, is by far the most exceptional boat in the Amed area, nothing comes even close. With a capacity of 70 passengers and powered by 5 X 250 HP Yamaha engines there is no doubt there is NOT a faster means of travel to the Gili Islands and Lombok.
